Instead of standard lecture notes, a video was created via Screencast-O-Matic, and uploaded to Youtube .
The video was then linked on Blendspace with additional activities & resources, and that Blendspace was then posted on the website.
Their assignment was to watch the lecture notes & record definitions in their interactive science journals, then respond by taking a quiz in Google Forms, which was graded using Flubaroo.

Here, her students were responding to an assignment Mrs. Greer posted where groups of students created a presentation about the Civil War using Google Slides .
